The excitement is palpable. We've just received the white sample of our final card game from our incredible partners at Whatz Games, and we're absolutely thrilled with the results. After months of design, development, and meticulous refinement, seeing the physical product in its near-final form is a truly special moment.


From Prototype to Perfection:
As many of you know, the journey from concept to finished product is filled with challenges and triumphs. Our prototype, while promising, highlighted a few areas we wanted to improve, particularly the box's finishing. We knew we wanted a premium feel, a box that not only protected the cards but also reflected the quality of the gameplay within.
Thanks to the expertise and dedication of Whatz Games, we've achieved exactly that. The white sample showcases the stunning improvements we've made. The box is now robust, with a flawless finish that feels luxurious in your hands. The cards themselves are crisp and beautifully printed, a testament to the high standards we've set for High & Low.

What's a "White Sample"?
For those unfamiliar with the production process, a "white sample" is essentially a blank version of the final product. It allows us to meticulously inspect the physical components, including the box, cards, and any other included materials, for quality, accuracy, and overall feel. It's a crucial step in ensuring that the final product meets our exacting standards.

The Story of the Card Game

 As a campus educator at a school for children aged 6 to 12, I organize the children's leisure activities and take care of lunch. During the summer holiday program in 2017, card games were a huge hit. However, some of these games had names that are now considered offensive and politically incorrect. We quickly renamed these games in front of the children to "Hello" or "OK" or simply gave them new, invented names. One game that was particularly popular with the children was a mix of luck and strategy. The gameplay required foresight but also offered surprising moments of luck – the perfect balance! The children even developed their own rules for this game and combined it with other card games. This is how the first version of "High & Low" was born.
